Two bits of news that have deadlines:
If you’re a conservator and would like to work with my good friends at The Wiltshire Conservation and Museums Advisory Service in Chippenham, you have until 25 May to apply for the role of Object Conservator. See details here Quite apart from all the exciting conservation opportunities, they do great cake!
If you’re a Modes user, we need to hear from you. As I mentioned a couple of months ago I’m working with the Modes team at the moment and we are carrying out a member survey. As we explore opportunities for how Modes might change and develop over the coming years we’re really keen to hear from Modes users about what they think of the current offer and their aspirations and needs for the future. If you’re a paid up Modes member, you should have received a survey invite. If you haven’t and you’d like to contribute, you will find all the details here And there is even a cash draw!
And if you’re neither a conservator or a Modes user, don’t feel left out. Here is a link to gorgeous orangutan Bula Mata making a nest at Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre in Dorset (one of my favourite places to go when not museuming)
