Really excited to be working with the team at The Association of Independent Museums (AIM) project managing the AIM/Biffa Award History Makers grant programme. The fund will see £1M made available to museums over the next few years to develop new exhibitions based on the inspirational lives of extraordinary historical figures. Full details of how to apply can be found on the AIM website and we are also holding a seminar looking at best practice in heritage projects on October 4th at the London Transport Museum
The closing date for Round 1 of grant applications is October 31st, but if you have an idea that you think might be suitable the best thing to do is submit an expression of interest or contact us for a chat about your potential project as soon as possible. That way we can work with you to ensure your project is eligible for the scheme and advise you on how best to develop it to full application.
All the details, including Expression of Interest form, can be found at http://www.aim-museums.co.uk/content/aim_biffa_award_history_makers_programme/#
Looking forward to working with inspiring museums on their inspiring history makers projects.
