Great to hear the news last month that Weymouth Museum have been successful in securing a development grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to develop proposals for their site at Brewers Quay.

The volunteer team there have persevered for some time against the odds to keep the museum open and the collections of the town secure.

This funding news, and the granting of planning permission for the wider redevelopment of the site, gives the green light for work to begin developing the museum that Weymouth deserves.
